Online Banking Is Now Better Than Ever

On November 17, we will be upgrading many of our digital banking services. We listened to your feedback and worked with our vendor to develop a simplified, user-friendly system with new, enhanced features.

Some of the new features include:

  • Online Banking featuring a new intuitive interface and responsive design that make Online Banking's functions and banking information easily accessible on virtually any screen size. View our online banking tutorial above for more information about all of the features available in online banking.
  • A new, enhanced Personal Online Bill Pay program that allows you to pay bills, make personal payments and transfer money right from the home screen. You’ll also enjoy faster payments and a new payment model where your account will be charged on the same day the biller (payee) receives funds for your payment. View our bill pay tutorial above for more information.
  • External Transfers – transfer funds to and from accounts at other financial institutions. You can even choose to pay other people (POP) electronically with POPMoney®. With POPMoney® you can send or request payments directly from online or mobile banking using only the recipient’s name and email address, mobile phone number, or account information. View the mobile banking tutorial above for more information.
  • Mobile Banking – you will now have the ability to pay bills using our mobile app! View the mobile banking tutorial above for more information about our mobile features.

Important Information For Current Online Bill Pay Users!

Payees:

The majority of your payees will be converted to the new system. Unfortunately, any person–to-person payments or external transfers (from FMB to accounts at other financial institutions) will not convert. We recommend setting up these payees either in our new, easy POPMoney® electronic personal payment service, or our account to account (A2A) transfer service, as appropriate, after the conversion on November 17.

Downtime:

During this conversion, our current bill pay site will be unavailable November 16-17, 2016. We recommend rescheduling any one-time or recurring payments scheduled during the period of November 15-19 to avoid any delays in payment processing.

What Else Do I Need To Know?

First time log on:
Your Log On credentials will not change. You may be asked to complete the security challenge.

Mobile Banking:
After our conversion, you’ll have the ability to pay bills using our mobile app. You can also complete person to person payments, deposit checks for free with our free mobile deposit service, receive alerts and view your balances in real time.

Account History:
All of your account history will be available in the new system. Once you've logged on to the new system, make sure all of your accounts are displayed, and make sure your personal information and preferences are set up properly.

Alerts:
Please note that any alerts you've set up in the old system may not transfer to the new online banking system. It's easy to set up your alerts and new options will be available - just click on the Alerts.

eStatements:
Your eStatements will continue to function as they always have. If you haven't signed up to receive electronic statements, now is the perfect time to do so. It’s an easy way to save time and save paper.

Online Bill Pay:
If you haven’t tried bill pay, now is a great time to enroll. Our Online Bill Pay service is now completely free (we’ve eliminated our inactivity fee). As an added benefit, bill pay users will automatically have access to our new POPmoney® personal payment service. For details, watch the POPmoney® video.

Thank you for your patience during this transition. We are confident you will be pleased with our new and enhanced digital banking services. You may contact us at 1-800-824-2692 with any questions or concerns.
